Material Specification
The Oasis Guzzler is produced using the production method know as rotational molding. Rotomolding is commonly used to produce kayaks, chemical storage tanks, and large water containers.
The plastic material used to mold the guzzler is a high grade polyethylene. Formulated for stiffness and low temperature toughness. 100% recyclable. Impervious to acid, oil and petroleum products yet is safe for the environment and suitable for drinking water. The Oasis is designed to be installed in-ground with a "collector" system for gathering water into the 500 gallon tank. Collectors are not included with guzzler but are easily built from common materials. See plans.
While the Oasis is very durable, it is made specifically for upland birds and small game. It should not be used for large mammals such as sheep, cattle, elk, moose, buffalo, etc.
